This issue covers the UI implementation for MIDI mapping, allowing users to customize which MIDI notes are used for each Voice (Kick, Snare, etc.).

Tasks:

  • Add a MIDI mapping editor to the UI (likely in the JACK client and/or as a host-accessible control set for LV2).
  • Allow users to change the MIDI note for each Voice in real-time.
  • Ensure changes are reflected immediately in the MidiMap passed to the engine.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • User can change the MIDI note of a voice in the UI.
  • The generated MIDI output reflects the updated notes.
  • Initial state defaults to the GM map.
  • UI is intuitive and doesn't clash with existing complexity/intensity controls.

Reference: P1.7 (Core MIDI Map) and P4.4 (App UI)
